During the LIMA’19 exhibition in 2019, UA Aerospace in partnership with Harbin General Aircraft Industry Group Co., Ltd, signed a Joint Venture Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Menteri Besar Incorporated Kedah, the investment arm of the Kedah state government. This signing marked a strategic step toward establishing a final assembly facility for the Y12-F aircraft at Alor Setar Airport, Malaysia.
The master plan envisions the development of a comprehensive aviation ecosystem, integrating a final assembly facility, after-sales support center, MRO facilities, and other supporting aviation industries at Alor Setar Airport and Langkawi International Airport. This initiative aims to transform the region into a self-sustaining aviation hub, aptly named “The Northern Aeropolis.”

The Y12-F is a multirole utility turboprop aircraft, this aircraft has obtained Type Certificate FAA FAR 23 from USA and EASA CS-23 from EU.

This cost effective, high performance helicopter is powered by 2 x ARRIEL 2H with 2 channel EECU, manufactured by Turbomeca, France.

Our services are delivered at our partner facility at London Biggin Hill Airport, ensuring top-tier maintenance solutions.
Additionally, we provide rapid AOG (Aircraft on Ground) support both nationally and internationally, backed by our in-house capabilities and expertise as a certified STC Design House.
